“In the summer of 2009, our primary server kept locking up at random times over a 48-hour period, causing our EMR and other critical applications to go down for a minimum of 45 minutes while things were rebooted. This problem was above the abilities of our in-house IT to resolve, and our contracted IT support vendor wasn’t answering phone calls or returning voicemails. The issue began to escalate quickly and became much more frequent. That’s when we contacted Common Angle. With our primary concerns for patient care being impacted and our staff quickly losing faith in the information technology systems, we knew we had to escalate things. With no prior history of supporting our network, Common Angle not only dispatched a technician onsite immediately but also isolated the issue within 30 minutes and implemented a temporary fix while replacement parts were sent overnight for next day installation, keeping us stable and functional. After the server repairs were completed, a network assessment was performed, and within 10 days we had contracted them to provide IT support and offsite backups for the facility.
Fast forward to present day and we are still working with Common Angle at an even greater capacity. They are now our full IT department and have streamlined our technology.
